Healthy length/girth

Okay, so somehow I posted this on the blood forum...

Hi, guys,

I adopted a ball python from my wife's cousin, who recently went into the military. Maybe it's just me, but he seems a bit on the slim side. He measures at a little over three feet; what kind of girth or weight should he be shooting for, approximately? 3.5yrs old....

Really is dependant on the snake and it's feeding habbits - just like people some will bulk up and some tend to be slim and then there is a whole lot in the middle. If he is eating the appropriate sized food item regularly then there shouldn't be an issue. Perhaps you can post a photo.

most people say 500 grams per foot is a good ratio.
