egg calcium deposits

gardenia Jul 25, 2003 03:13 AM

Are they detrimental? What are their significance? My eggs seem to have a significant amount (the actual deposits have a crease effect in the egg). I've heard that it means they were carried by the female for a longer period of time. Is this correct?

When did she drop the clutch?

gardenia Jul 25, 2003 02:49 PM

Does that mean lay the eggs? She layed them on the 8th of july. I don't know how long she was pregnant for. Any info on the calcium deposits would be helpful. Thanx!

I forgot to add also that her pre-lay shed was a month before she layed. (a bit long?)

There's four of them, the one closest to the camera has the most. So I don't think they are dehydrated and I've candled them. Is there something wrong?
