True Genetic Hypo Burms!

tns4life Jan 14, 2006 12:14 AM

I am so excited about this project, it's really hard to explain. These animals are co-owned by myself and Adam @ Millenniummorphs. The word on these snakes is that there is a very good probability of producing a white snake. Also breeding these guys into the dwarfs, albinos, granites and all the other new burm stuff out there. It took a lot to get these animals so I want to thank Neil Gholi and Michael Cole of BallRoom Pythons for giving us the oppurtunity to let us work with this incredible project. Here are some pic-thanks

P.S. We might have some of these animals on Display at the Hamburg, PA show soon so check to see and grap a glimpse.

Mike,
This one project has the potential to Kick the Burmese Market up a few notches.I am looking forward to getting my leucistic back from you guys when your first clutch of babies is born in the early summer....
Lots of neat stuff happening. and more to come.

Lets see some pics of the Leucistic!!!!! Burms are the best, i hope these Hypos will make people Burm Crazy again!

I think these are so far the best new burm morph to come out recently. The fact that these are co-dominant and they can be put into dwarves very fast and crossed into other morphs makes these amazing. Plus the fact that they may produce a white snake is very exciting. Keep them away from the sick burms and get some dwarf hypos and dwarf white snakes!! Post better pictures when you can.

Thanks

Brian

Thats true Brian. Trust me, we will keep them far away from any other burm out there. I am only working with DWARF burms and no other burms except for these HYPOS. So they will never be in contact with any other burm from this country. There will be no chance of these guys getting sick. That is probably my biggest concern. I will take all precautions to keep these guys super healthy. They will be housed at my facility and have an entire room dedicated to them and the DWARFS. This project is probably going to be the most exciting project for us in a long time. There is alot of potential with this project and I expect to see some cool stuff in the future from this new trait. We will keep everyone posted.....Thanks

I didn't think it was legal to keep burms in New York?

morphed Jan 17, 2006 12:32 PM

you cant own Burms in Ny unless you have a permit...

millenniummorphs Jan 17, 2006 02:47 PM

The law is very confusing. Since Jan. 2005 the law states that you must obtain a permit to buy or own any of the 5 big constrictors. If you owned the animal prior to 2005 then you are grandfathered and must still obtain a permit. But the DEC has no clue what the law actually states, or the guidelines of the law. The state is not enforcing the law yet due to the lack of knowledge in regards to the law as well. There are many stipulations to the law that will allow you to obtain these animals. Breeders are posibly one of them. Once the state and DEC get there act together they could lay out the actual guidelines for everyone. Until then they cant fine you or take you animals.

Has there been a lucy produced from this bloodline or is it speculation that the super is a lucy? This along with the T albino is just what the burm market needed, some high end animals that are super cool to look at and to breed into other traits. Best of luck with them and I look forward to owning a Lucy burm if you guys can produce some. If a lucy has been produced, put up a pic, I would love to see another one.
