Okay, I now have 12 snakes. 10 corn snakes, 1 rat snake and 1 ball python.

My plan is to build stackable enclosures that open in the front. Have a pretty good design worked out after some research on some cage building sites. I have several questions and would like your opinions.

For the corn snakes I'm thinking 36" long X 18" wide X 24" high.
or maybe 18" high. Would 28" long and same everything else be big enough? I do have to worry about space, and of course growing snake collection. Would this be sufficient to house adult corns?

The other question is if I use furniture grade plywood and flexwat heat tape for uth, is there a fire danger? I'm worried about fire danger for any uth with plywood. Of course I will use a thermostat, but what is your experience?
