Lost Crested Gecko

Hey guys-

I got my crested about a month ago. First off I promise I'm not an idiot but somehow the guy has gone missing. I rarely handle him as he is only about 6 months old and I haven't taken him out in several days. Anyway, this morning when I came home he was no longer in his "set up." It was shut properly and he was in there last night when I left. I've got a lot of fake branches and stuff for him to hide in. I've triple checked all of those and he is not in there. I've shaken each individual branch to see if somehow I've missed him. I'm really baffled as there is pretty much no way for him to get out, but it seems as though it's happened. There is no way he is in that cage...any suggestions on where to look/how to entice him back?
Thanks in advance for your help.

look in the bedding is 1 thing i do when my disapear. anothering thing is look at any place that is a possible hiding place like an open drawer, any spaces between or under ur furniture. i hope that helps and good luck finding it.

I have tried many ways to find my lost geckos. I lost a male crested and a male northern velvet gecko last year. I found both about a week later. I found them both by just routine walks to my herp room. My male crested was found walking on the ground. Just keep looking at night, take a trip at midnight or so with a flashlight. Look in dark corners. First, check your herp area/room! Thats most likely where he/she is!
