the ones i have saw on the net cost alot does anyone know a breeder or online site where i can get one

i think lindsay pike just hatched some ornates. unless you want some wc sickly ones, you're going to be paying a lot for ornates no matter where you go.

having just hatched out some uro babies and also having many beardie babies, uro eggs are not only harder to incubate, but uromastyx only lay one small clutch per year. that is why they are so expensive. a bearded dragon will lay 4-5 clutches or more of 20 or more eggs in a year. a uromastyx will lay one clutch of just 10 or so eggs a year. so that's why the ones that are not imported cost so much money. -Lucy
