help with algae problem

hi I am looking to maybe put a algae eater in my turtle tank to help with the algae dose anyone have any ideas on this before I buy one.

Give it a go let me know how you get on? been told that aquatic snails do the job as well but your turts will love to eat them both!!

I wouldn't do it as the fish will most likely end up being lunch. Better to control it with lighting and algea scrubs
