Ms Peaks Lives !!!

kitchi Jan 14, 2006 02:26 PM

This is an 03' female from the one and only Ms Peaks X Bobo pairing. She looked the most like her now deceased Mom. She has very pink sides.

That one is sweet, Mike. She looks pretty sizable. What does she measure?

kitchi Jan 15, 2006 08:31 AM

I never really measure my snakes. I am estimating around 5 ft. The box in the pic is 2 ft on the long dimension. She normally is in a Vision cage.

you had alluded to the fact that Ms.Peaks and BoBo had died. If so, how did they die? They would have been less than 10 years old right?

Thanks,
Andy

I am not Mike, but...... both died from liver and kidney faliure. Both animals where breed numerous times and had a heavy breeding schedule. This takes its toll on animals. Breeding is very hard on reptiles...I really doubt it is genetic...

Hope this helps!

I did not own them but have been told by thier owners that they died. The primary reason for the cause was undetermined. As far as I know Bats is still alive and she was the one that produced 3 or 4 years in a row and is real big.

The neocropsy on Mrs Peaks should failed liver and kidney, but like you said what caused this is unkown. The vet didn't feel it was genetic, but most likely from the toll of previous breedings.

As far as I know, bats is dead too. So out of the group, sal is the only one left.... At least thier babies are passed on!

I was also told Chikita was dead. I do not know about Mellow Yellow but that is strange how most(if not all) of FLRT's breeding group is dead at a young age.

Mike, here's one I call Mr. Peaks in honor of his aunt...
'04 Bats and Sal pairing baby. I love that FLR line, would love to see some more FLR pics from you.

Thanks,

Andy
