This '02 male has flames and a light head patch, but I'm not sure about the belly. He does not have much yellow, but some yellowbellies don't.

What do you think?

Here is a pic of one so you can have some reference, notice the pattern along the side of the stomach. Hope this helps

I've looked at lots of photos of yellowbellies, but I've never seen one in person. I still don't know what exactly I'm looking for. The belly on my snake has what I would call "granite-like speckling", so I could be missing something.

Can someone tell me what I should be seeing when I look at the belly of a yellowbelly. Is it different from the speckling shown in my first pick?
