Just seein what your guys opinion is...i have a 3ft and FAT FAT FAT borneo blood that ive had since it was a baby...its is in a 75gal cage with temp and humidity all at good levels and thrives...my question is what do you guys do when they out grow all there hides lol..mine loves the one rock but before i fed it ,it didnt fit under it all the way and now i just fed it a jumbo, and i mean jumbo, rat so the rock is basically sitting ontop of the snakes fat coils lol...should i just leave it in there even if its way to small if it makes the snake secure...i know bloods love hiding and even though its not the end of the world if it cant hide i want to make it as comftorable as posibble...but there just arent many hides any more that it will fit completely in

try a cat litter box lid. or go to walmart or any dept store and look at getting a rubbermaid/sterilite container and use a wood burning tool or other device to "create" an opening for it.

I used pie pans for a while, and you can find plastic tubs for washing dishes and such. I just give mine a nice deep layer of cypress mulch, and she ignores her hides and hangs out between the water dish and the back wall.

Hey,
Here is what I have done and it works great for larger bloods and short-tails. I use a 3 inch or 4 inch cup saw, or more commonly called, hole saw. I cut open a hole using this tool along with a drill and they fit nicely into the rack system and the snakes love and use them all the time. Here's Negrita using hers.
