Reproduction problems

xblackheart Jan 15, 2006 12:40 AM

I have a male iguana with his reproductive parts outside of his body. I've heard of cases where they have to be surgically removed. Does this happen frequently, or in nature? Will he eventually bring them back inside his body? Any input would be nice. He is one of the two that I posted about before where they spaz out if anyone even goes near their cage. The other is a female and broke part of her tail off in one of her spaz episodes.
Thanks

If it is not going back in it could be a prolapse. This article has good information http://www.anapsid.org/prolapse.html . You should take him in to the vet.
