There are other people here with a decent knowledge base, but just don't post very much.

I agree - I thought this forum was much more active 4 years ago - now I feel like I am one of the few people who is replying to peoples threads lol. Then again, I had some decent gaps of non-posting over the years.

I've switched forums to a more active one. But I still check this one daily.

Yes, this forum was much more active some years ago.
Also today it is quite newbie centered and repeats the same qs again and again.

Thats why today I check it only once in a while

Ingo,

have you found a forum not "newby" oriented where issues faced with mature CWD might be discussed? Diane

The problem with all the water dragon forums I have stumbled apon is that they lack serious moderation.

These forums are very simply designed, and I don't mind that. However, mods should create stick post for each forum directed to general care of that animal.

I would be glad to start my own forum for water dragons applying methods to advise users to search the forums first, and read the sticky threads. Unfortanetly, it is very difficult to get a forum started.

The forums I use for my web programming/design questions over at www.sitepointforums.com, are very good about dealing with newbie questions.

So Bryan, what sites do you go to? I wonder what sites Rick uses? It is just not the same now. You know what I mean.
