Very nice looking snake. I got two (male and female) from great valley serpantarium in Lodi, Ca. I have to ask, is that bark? If so, I would realy recommend something else. Bark molds, smell, is a pain all around. It is also very abrassive. I know I would not like walking barefoot on rocks my whole life, which is the closest example that I can think of. Just my opinion. Here are pics of my babies, if you missed them in previous posts.

Yep is bark I'm afraid, will agree with you on the smell side. We are a bit limited in the UK with types of substrate. What would you recommend.?

I use aspen shavings with no problems.
