hi im gettin mi leo a new 20 gal tank and im using calci sand(ive had no probs with it). can anyone give some ideas of wat 2 do to make it like a desert and show me thier desert setups.

This is my setup. It uses Coral sand as a substrate which I have had no problems with in my years of keeping reptiles.
I use cork hides with a camo plastic box filled with Vermiulite for a humid hide. I also have some rocks.
Heating is provided by 2 lights. (Normal and Red Repti spotlight for cold nights) and a UHT. I have a 1.2 setup in this tank.
Its about 68gallons.
