How is 65 degrees as nght time temperature for a veiled?

15-20 degree drop is normal and preferred. Hope you have worked out, and had success with, the other concerns you had.

65F night temps for a Veiled are fine, as Lele has already pointed out. Most chams require and do appreciate a drop in their night-time temperatures, just like they would experience in the wild.
It's funny as I, myself, have adapted really easily to the lower temps at night and so do sleep better when the cooler fresh (windows are always cracked open a bit at night) air circulates throughout the room.

My Veiled are kept at 70 degrees F at night, no lower. I have kept it lower before but found the Chameleons to be more lethargic during the day.

Maybe your room didn't heat up fast enough in the morning.
