flourescent -vs- merc. vapor

Which would give off more uvb- a 100watt mercury vapor bulb, or an 18", 8.0 flourescent?

The mercury vapor gives off 6 times the amount of UVB as a flourescent tube. However, they are not suitable for small cages, if your tank is less than 3 feet tall, stick with the flourescent.
