not feeding it is usually a pretty good reason.

if it was being fed then parasites may be the reason. try taking her to the vet to get dewormed. would be a good thing to do regardless.

yeah, getting help on here is getting to be more difficult. espescially if the snake in question isnt a morph. youre more likely to get your questions answered if you have an albino or a sunglow (for example) than a normal. place seems to be turning into a morph breeders' clique although there are the occasional exceptions.

I remember when i was 12 i wanted a baby redtail boa from a place called super pets. i took me like 7 months to talk my dad into shelling out a whopping 125 bux to buy it for me. Now you hardly can find normals any more and if you do they look like such [bleep] you wouldnt want em any way. I feel that people are pricing the average hobbiest out of the game, i mean come on , i seen a snake on the classifieds going for 75,000, thats a dam porche or benz, not a snake! How can little kids like I was talk thier parents into coughing up 500-1500 bux for a snake, forget about it. And I know that in 5-10 years these het for this and possible het for that wont be worth as much but in the mean time we,ll just have to stick it out. By the way i was just watching the california lottery show, and this guy just one 350,000 dollars, and when the host asked what he was gonna buy , he said it was a down payment on a "sharp sunglow male"
thanks
Brian

If she was bein' fed every two weeks, it musta been mice and darn few of em. Don't remember if you said how long it was. I'd go a rat a week till she started fillin' out again. You also don't want to put to big a strain on her system, I would think. Goos luck with her. Show us a pic.

yup, she's a tad thin alright. Taking in a fecal certainly won't hurt. Better safe than sorry. I'd feed her a good sized rat a week just the same. Luck with her.

Don't know how happy she'd be to see that 3 snakes, 50 rats and 7 hamsters are higher on the list than her and the kids.

Just trying to save you from a cold night in the doghouse.

Can you just imagine the look if she noticed it? brrrrr.

I know this is not a very common hobby, My wife fields a lot of the "why do you let him keep snakes?" questions and she is a real sweetie even though this is not her idea of a hobby. Without her support though, I'd have nothing.
