Ugly pastels

If you have an low quality pastel from a proven line,
does this produce OK (normal) pastel babies or?

Yeah, and good looking pastels can produce ugly pastels. Some attribute it to the normal used in the breeding, but I've seen ugly and nice pastels in the same clutch. Take care
