Pretty nice estate the dragon has there!
peace,
nate
thats pretty much what i did for mine, it was the bottom shelf of a bookcase. it works really well, the only thing i was worried about was ventilation, but we figured something out.
Its a very nice looking cage, but it seems dark to me, inside. Not sure if the flood lights are just for heat or if they are MVB. If they are not, I suggest adding a 4' long double florescent light fixture (assuming the cage is at least 4' long if not more, if shorter than 4' then u se a 2'-3' fixture). With the double fixture, you can put in either two UVB tubes or one UVB tube and a regular full spectrum light tube to increase the overall light intensity in the cage.
Also, some higher basking ledges, branches or bricks/rocks should be added to allow your dragon to get close to the uvb lights (for mercury vapour bulbs, they need to be no closer than 18", for florescent tube style UVB bulbs, they need to be around 8" from the light). Higher basking spots also makes it easier to reach higher temperatures for the dragon to bask in. Having a rock formation or large driftwood, you can set up several levels of basking spots under the basking light, allowing the dragon to choose if he wants to be in a hotter spot or cooler spot under the basking light.

I think the picture is just dark cause the outter room is dark. There is a piece of driftwood in there that has to be turned upward for them to bask. Hubby has it laying down for some reason. Going to make it higher to reach the light better.

I went and got the box for the light on the left. It is from Zoomed It is 160W self-ballasted mervury vapor flood lamp. Is this ok? I also am going to build up so our beardie can bask closer. Other than that does it look ok?
