UTH for a wood enclosure?

pwAhrn Jan 16, 2006 01:25 PM

I am about to construct a new home for my ball python. I am going with 3/4" plywood and not about to stick an under-tank heater on it.

Is there any kind of safe heat pad that can be placed directly inside the enclosure? It will be covered with substrate, of course. Thank you.

Preston.

look on line at reptile supplier sites. the panel is attached to the roof of the cage and emitts heat down kinda like the sun. i got mine when i had my cage built. most supplier have them they are a little more expensive but to me well worth the cost.
