It's that time of year again

sunfox Jan 16, 2006 02:55 PM

I've managed to get Ra and Isis back together for breeding again this year. I had to separate them last year after egg-laying due to aggression on the female's part. She never did mellow out and continued to bite, harrass, and frighten my young male. After the brumation cycle (and some growing up on Ra's part), Ra has succeeded in curbing her aggression by standing up for himself. They are back together in the big tank, both eating, basking, and mating. I hope they will be able to stay together this time but I'm not pinning my hopes on it.
