My adult beardie has what I see as a a shding of th scales around her nose. However there is a small spiral object holding it on. I was wondering if this could be a part of the inner nose that for some reason has protruded out of the nose. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this happening and why. I am worried that this could be a problem related to not enough UVB because I recently aquired her from a woman who I bleive never used a UV light i dotn know for sure. any help is appreciated.

If its what I think it is, it's nothing to worry about. I have noticed that when my dragons go through a complete shed there are pieces that actually come out of thier nostril when the nose sheds, kind of like little plugs. Maybe this is what you are describing?? Can you brush it off?
