Caramel Albinos

njames78 Jan 17, 2006 11:44 AM

What do folks think about the Caramel Albino market, where it will be in 2-3 yrs.?? I am thinking of getting some hets but wonder if they are going to be worth the trouble. I'm not looking to make money, but would like to atleast break even and keep a caramel in the mean time, I mean they are a sweet looking animal post or email your thoughts, njames78@yahoo.com Thanks, Nick

I have a pair of 04 Het Caramels that I hope to breed in the 06/07 season. I think we will see a couple more combos with the Caramel this year, which will heighten the interest in the project. I think that it will be a great project to work on, and they will hold their value for many years to come. Go for it, especially if you like the trait.

My opinion,

Couldn't agree more with that assessment. I am in the same boat and got them just because I love the trait. Be Danged the "market" get what you want because you like it not because someone else thinks its trendy.

If you are lucky enough to have surplus to sell, sell them for what you want out of them not what some non exsistant cash controlling market force tells you to sell them for.
