well we have dial up and it took all night to up load 1 darn photo hope to get moor for you to see. as you can see in the photo that chrissy is showing aragorn. they really loved baby the corn snake that is 4 months old. we brought 1 of the boas(5 ft. long)and they all took deep breaths when i took him out. they soon calmed down when i came around and let them touch him. and yes we brought sanitizer with us and the kids all washed befor and after. we realy appreciate all the addvice you guys gave us. and used it all. we hope to do this again somday

Looks great! I remember when something similar was done on a field trip or something like that (it was a while ago), and to be honest, its what sparked my interest in reptiles. 15 years late, im still the same kid inside. It must be very rewarding knowing that you have potentially made a similar impact on kids!! Oh, hey, how did you keep your snakes warm to and from the trip? Heat packs?

We loved every minute of our trip to the school! Love the interaction with the kids and their questions and their fasination with the fact that most snakes come from eggs. They liked touching the shedings and the snakes themsleves. For the transportation we didnt need heat packs. We prewarmed the truck, lined their boxes with shreded news paper, and put them in pillow cases. Note it was only 50 degrees out side and a ten minute ride to the school. we hope to do it again.
