Night temps

Melle Jan 17, 2006 10:50 PM

Hello,

Quick question. For my savannah, what should night time temps drop down to? I'm asking because since cost to heat the house is so high now, we have been keeping the heat lower then normal at night. I'm most likely going to have to hook up a nightime bulb.

Most of us allow nighttime temps to drop about 10 degrees F.
I usually let the temps in my enclosure drop to about 70 F on the cool side. It's a good idea to allow them to bask whenever they need it so night bulbs may be a good choice for you.
hope that helps.
Cheers
