You're letting two toads live in an enclosure that's only 10 gallons?
No just one
You can have 2 FBTs together in a 10gallon tank. These are real small animals. As for other animals, most everyone will tell you that you absolutely should not put anything in with FBTs. I keep a Firebelly Newt in with my toad with no problems. 10gallon tank 2/3 water and 1/3 land. I was real nervous when I first put them together, because I heard alot of people say to not do it. The first night seemed bad. My toad nipped at the newt a couple times. I kept a real close eye on them and was about to seperate them. Since that first night I havent had a single problem. Both of them eat regularly and are active. Neither of them seem stressed at all. They've been together for about 3 months now.

I have kept 3 FBTs in a 10 gallon with some guppies.
The two bigger ones bullied the smallest one, which I eventually had to separate from the others. The remaining two in the 10 gallon did great. You can keep them with other FBTs, and they are known to do well with FBNs. Small, gentle fish such as guppies go good with them, but be prepared to have some fish get eaten from time to time.
if you are going to incorperate more FBT or FBN then you should really consider upgrading to a larger tank. I would not keep any other species than FBT, FBN, and yellow bellied toads together. i had a bad experience when i was just getting into amphibians and mixed two FBTs and one FBN with a green frog and a small bullfrog, everything was fine for a week, but then one mourning i found two happy FBTs and one happy FBN and two dead frogs. if the fire bellies or yellow bellies feel threatned then they will not hesitate to use their toxin, as it is their primary defense against predators. as for my collection now, i have 5 FBTs, 2FBNs and 1 YBT in a 29 gal. long tank that is 1/3 land to 2/3 water, with a whisper 40i internal filter, live plants in the water and on land and about three inches of water in the tank. i have had small goldfish, rosie reds, guppies, and swords in the tank, but all of them were eaten not long after being introduced.
hope this helps with your decision
