How long does it take for a california king snake to get about 6 feet
Very few California Kingsnakes get to be 6 ft.

Kerby...
Hi Kerby, is there a real record of any calking reaching 6 ft? Real meaning a specimen to prove it. Thanks
But in the mid 1990's someone brought a wild cal king to an AHA mtg and if it wasn't 6 feet, it had to be close. It was the longest one that I ever saw, not big around though.
I have no idea what the record length is?
Anyone?
Kerby...
Back in the 70s when Ron Tremper was still living here in central Calif., he found one in the field just N of Fresno that measured 56 inches total length. That is the longest wild one I am aware of, and of course what happens in captivity is another matter entirely.
Cheers,
Bob
I know my captive cal kings are bigger in weight, but not necessarily bigger in length than wild cal kings.

I found a striped king in temecula, that was 63 inches. I also raised several over 60 inches with the largest being 64 inches. But never heard of one approaching 6 feet. Thanks
I have one that measured 5ft 4in 2 years ago. Hes thirteen so he probobly hasn't grown too much since but maybe a little. I've never seen a live one bigger, but I saw a preserved specimen that was supossedly 70 inches. It was really skinny for how long it was.
Yeah... I've never seen one over 5 foot. including a coastal cal king i fed every 7 days for 10 years.

1 Thayer's Kingsnake - Thayeri
2 Golden Greek Tortoises
1 Pyxie Frog - 14 years old
Most I've kept didn't get much bigger than 4'.
It would take a while (of selective breeding) just to cross the 5.5 foot barrier! Biggest cal king I've seen was 64" long, according to it's ownwer (Not 100% sure if it was pure - it looked genuine though).
Here's a rare 6 foot Calking look-a-like (A huge male, rat-slammin', EASTERN KING). Meet "Georgia Boy", a 7.5 year old captive born male):
