Hello!

I would like to know what would be a normal size for a 3 year old male sonoran gopher. Thanks!

that's hard to say,so much variability, and relative factors...now to something that you may find helpful,lol...all pituophis grow fast, and sonorans are one of the bigger ones...at 3 years, that's a full adult,i would say,no longer a subadult...the one male i kept, was somewhere around 5 feet at age three, maybe bigger....sorry i can't be more specific.let me stress to you, that mine was slightly bigger/grew faster than average,i would say-i.e. don't start worrying and push your 3 year old too hard if he's not 5 feet,i would say anything around 4 feet or more is fine at that age.

thank you for the reply. He's about 46" right now, so I guess a reasonable size. I wanted to push him a bit, but I wasn't sure if you could do that with an adult like you can with a hatchling or subadult.
