If you repeatedly post ads stating, "Wierd, odd, unusual, ringer,..." and the Ball for sale is nothing more than a $5 normal, people are going to stop even opening your ad. Just some free advice.

I think everyone here knows the ones you'r talking about they have to name everything. I even hate it worse when they copy a real name like yellow ball with belly or somthing crazy like that.

I do not actually mind the "ish" ads. At least then they are not saying it is a certain morph, no deception. I just hate the ones that say ringers, and they have no visible ring, or unusual, and it is not unusual, but a plain ole normal. I just do not open that person's ads anymore.

Personally, I think "ish" is worse. They are eluding or trying to steer you to a morph. And an odd snake can be just that, odd, without it being a morph. To each his own.

Isn't it cooler that serpent's don't walk anymore?
(Genesis 3:14)
ads that tell you will need whatever morph to produce a certain combo, and the appearance/genetic make-up of one of the snakes used to make the combo is a SECRET, yet to even be known to the rest of the ball python community.
Hypothetical: I cross a proven morph male (pastel for example) to an odd female in my collection and hatch a new combo, but choose to keep any details of the female secret. I then name the combo the 'Pastel Whatever' and tell you that you'll never produce the Pastel Whatever without a Pastel.
"Geee, do you think so? I AM gonna need a Pastel to make the Pastel Whatever? Who'd have thunk it? Okay, I'll send off my cash in a few minutes. Lemme just loosen my stupid sign first; it's a bit tight on my neck."
It's a bit like saying that if you don't buy chicken you'll never be able to make your own Kentucky Fried Chicken at home. Now that you've bought the chicken you had better get out your spice collection and sit down for a looooonng game of 'trial and error.' lol
Anyone else find these type of ads shady/misleading or even a bit insulting to your common sense?

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAHAAA!
I agree 100%, that tickled.
...the infamous, "well, it looks genetic."
One of these days I'm gonna have to get me a pair of those mutant gene seeking x-ray glasses!
