FINALY GOT MY FIRST CHAM!!!

General_Cha0s Jan 18, 2006 10:12 PM

so after a little over a month of reading/research and setting up a really nice enclosure, i finally got my first cham today, i was waiting like a little kid on Christmas all day and go figure the UPS woman didnt knock! just left a note that she missed me and shed deliver tomorrow, even though i live in FLA i totally panicked and jumped in my car and chased her down , anyways, shes a female red bar ambilobe, looks to be nearly if not full grown (i was told by many not to mess with the babies), she seemed a little shook up when she arrived but she crawled out onto my hand and then onto one of the live plants in the enclosure, she livened up after a good spay down and took 3 dusted crickets and 3 superworms!(too many superworms?), thx to everyone on the forum for helping me prepare

There I used caps too to express my JOY for ya, in getting your new girl. She sounds lovely hope you are going to show her off and post some pics real soon for us ,

It's always so exciting when they arrive, seems great to me that she ate so soon, I sure would not worry about her eating a few superworms , thats great!

What did you name your new lady? Congratulations and I wish you the very best with her!

Hey Ryan, remember the pic, we will be waiting,

Check your temps again, and make sure there is plenty of light prenetration the cage. Make sure its defined whether it is day or night for them.

I had one that had a cage near a door, and at night the light outside the house door, would turn on and keep he awake. I didn't find this out until a while later.

Get some pics :D :D
