anything is possible. look for tubs that are made to go under beds. get three of them, and build the rack around them. i remember a while back i saw pictures of a rack similar to what your looking to do. if you use the under the bed type tubs, they sometimes have wheels on them. i would build the rack so that the drawers slide out with the shorter side fowar, so that the wheels work for you. additionally this will give more support for the rack since you could have many braces along the long ends of the tubs.
well i thought about the under bed tubs i think they will work but im not sure if there width will work though? i was at home depot and a saw under bed tubs that were just as long but a foot wider but not sure if they had wheels, small strong caster wheels can allways be added to each tub. and the whole thing about boas and pythons not able 2 be house next to one another i dont think would be a problem because each snake will be housed in there own tub and not in physical contact with each other at any time. thanks 2 everyone u all have good input aaron

i dont think there would be anything to worry about with the whole boa python mix. i think the only reason someone could think of that is because it is because it can be passed between species. other then that if no snake has it then there is no need to worry about it.
but back to the rack ...
you dont need to have wheels, i was just saying if you found a tub with them it would be good and not bad. the whole dilema with racks is just finding the right size tubs. the two i find on sterilite.com have the measure ments of 39 1/2"L x 20 1/4"W x 7"H and 44"L x 19 3/4"W x 6 3/8"H. neither are very wide to me as i like 24". the shorter but wider is what i would go with if it will work for your snakes. i go by one square foot of space to one foot of snake as a general rule. just find the right tubs you like and build a bookshelf for them (well more or less).
Doesn't it say someplace that you should NOT keep Boas and Pythons near one another (IBD)?
Ben
As long as you set up each tub with the proper temps and humidity for the species being kept in it, you will have no problems. I have an underbed tub rack at the moment with 5 BCI and one Ball Python in it, another rack with 5 Kenyan Sand Boas and 1 Ball Python, both racks are perfect and do what they need.
