well i started out with just my female and then bought my snow male at a flea market believe it or not at the time he was small and i wasnt sure what he was then my local pet shop called me and told me they had a huge corn snake in and wanted to know if i wanted it, so i went down and this snake was so obese i couldnt believe my eyes it was as big around as a small can of soup i could see skin between each scale, so i bought it as a mercy purchase. then i bought my most recent sinacorn knowing it was a male but not caring because ive wanted one for years. ive had many other females but i didnt seem to like to much i had female honduran and a female sinaloanbut the sinaloan had a repitory infection and mouth rot when i bought her i got rid of the mouth rot and the resp. inf. but she got the resp inf back and didnt make it.so to make a long story short i buy what i like or feel bad for with no origional intention to breed, but when they are healthy and i know the snakes disposition a little better, and find out if its a male or female then i make the choice to breed or get rid of them.
