I read in the previous posts, fox snakes have a high metabolism. I have had a 4ft female for over two weeks. While I see no weight loss, it doesn't seem like she is gravid. Could she be developing more eggs for a second clutch, thoughts?

I'd say that the metabolism of the western fox snakes that I've kept wasn't any higher than a corn snake's metabolism.

I'd be pretty surprised if she was gravid this time of year. If she's gone off food I'd expect the cause to be the urge to hibernate.
