The photo is of a Python sebae natalensis, or African rock python, was passed around the internet quite a bit last year, with a variety of stories, including one indicating the snake being found in Iraq, which is impossible.

I never saw that picture. What a shame that is. Can you imagine all the stories that big girl probably could have told??
Oh well.
