Ra has changed quite a lot in the past year. He's bigger, darker, and bolder than he was. He's still got quite a personality though.

They are co-habitating peacefully (so far), no signs of aggression, healthy appetites on both sides, and quite a bit of mating.
You try telling them apart.

wow, he does look alot different and i bet mating is much easier for him this year, ha ha. such a big handsome boy and that male mimic makes it even more confusing.
i am going to go with it is ra in the front, looking for the lady to mate with and isis in the back because she looks like she is trying to hide

You're right, jeune. Ra is at the front and Isis is hiding in the back.
When I first introduced them, she charged at him (like she used to do, then he'd run away). This time, he just stood his ground and promptly bit her on the nose. She quickly turned tail and ran. He started head-bobbing and trying to mount her.
She has not shown any aggression towards him since. He is not biting her at all, just mounting her every so often. I think she's starting to respect him now.

Wow! I'd hardly have believed it was the same uro! My malis were all mostly full grown when I adopted them, so I never got to experience how quickly they get their colors. He's very handsome.

Ra has really grown up! I am excited because I picked which was which correctly too, but it was from the look in Isis eye. lol.
They look great, hurray for Ra! He has gone through "puberty"!
