Is a 55gallon aquarium a good size for an adult Blue Tongue?

Is it a breeder? if so then it should do just fine. Though I don't know from experiance its just that before I get a new pet I make sure to do as much research as I possibly can.

We currently have one young adult male in a 55... but the rest of ours are in wider enclosures (18" width). BTS can easily manage in 40 breeder tanks - but we prefer non-glass, so hubby builds our custom skink condos.

Good luck with yours!

The guy at the pet store told me the tank is about 50x13. Something around there. It's kinda narrow.

Is the 55gal good for a while? I'm pretty sure it's a Northern BTS and the store has 2. One is about 7inches and the other may be 9 inches. $200 each. Is that a decent price? I'd probably get the smaller of the two. I'd have to take a closer look at them both first.
