Tub size?

kingofspades Jan 20, 2006 06:22 AM

What size tub does everyone use for adult ball pythons?

Would a 23L x 16.7W x 6 in rubbermaid tub be big enough?

We use Iris CB 70s for most of our adults (17 3/4"W x 33 1/2"L x 6"H), We are in the process of building another rack for our bigger girls and they are going to be moved in to CB 75s (22 3/10"W x 37 3/10"L x 6 4/5"H).

I'd say 23L x 16.7W x 6 would work for those that are sub adults or small adults, 3-4 footers and less than 1500 grams (give or take).

I have kept and bred HUGE females in the 28 quart rubbermaids.......

no it isn't nice..or pretty....but they laid.....up to 12 each.......

they are now in BoaPhile's Raxx.......and they look like they fill the 34 inch boxes...I got them that much bigger......guinea pigs and huge hamsters and rats.......

CB70's are fine........any box about 34 inches.....

they make CB 90??? right??.........HUGE ......
