Farewell friends!

To all of you who suffered through my sinai agama stories.....

He passed away last night between 6-9pm. I had fed him, changed his water, and cleaned the tank a bit and he was fine about 6pm. He was active like he used to be before Thanksgiving. Somewhere in that 3 hour time span he died. But he was much better in those last few weeks so I really do believe he did not suffer. Makes me wonder if his heart just didn't give out. I don't think I am going to get another lizard soon. Of course, I do have a lot of money tied up into a desert setup! I might change my mind but for right now I think I'll stick to my 3 dogs and my 2 55g tanks of cichlids. Thanks again to all of you who posted, read, or supported me through these last two months......I can't tell you how much it meant ot me to get a little bit of support and encouragement through a trying time.

I'm really very sorry to hear this. I had hoped he'd pulled through it alright.

Geesh... I was so happy he was doing so much better. Really a shame, so sorry to hear this. I know it is frustrating and feels as though ya just don't want to go through it agian.

We have all been there, believe me. I wish you all the best, and hope you will not give up the reptile hobby, it is very rewarding at times and brings much enjoyment watching them and interacting with them. But with all living creatures , they can get sick and leave us.

To me it sounded as though you were a very caring keeper, and hope you continue on maybe down the line. If you ever are interested in cute, spunky, pretty colored and active , and can't leave out friendly lizards, try a collared or two. Go nice in that desert set up of yours.
Give me a holler come spring Nothing like a couple pretty babys to cheer you up!

Take Care,
Collareds and More
