Coleonyx eggs *PIC* questions

ColeonyxCorral Jan 20, 2006 04:48 PM

Desert Banded Gecko eggs~ layed January 18. I have 2 other gravid females of this species and 1 gravid Tucson.

I will be traveling to baja california in mexico in the spring and I was wondering if it was legal to collect there. Is there a permit that you can get?

Also, I will be importing a few Coleonyx elegans this spring and I was wondering if anyone who has any could tell me if they supplement and how often and with what brand.

Thanks,
Alex

You can not collect in Mexico with out a permit. And they hard to obtain for regular people not doing research. They wont hand them out for people who wanna come field herp. But it would be cool, if you they would sell a permit to collect stuff legally, lol. Good luck on the eggs. Coleonyx are really neat lizards and make great captives too.
