concrete and fake rocks

atrox182 Jan 20, 2006 07:24 PM

I have read the post below on using concrete to make fake rocks from, will the concrete effect reptiles badly that come into constant contact with it such as snakes that use the rocks as basking sites and such? Thanks atrox182

Nope!

Only concern is if you're making something to hold water. You want it to sit about a month before use.

But hides/caves/rocks for snakes you'll be fine. I'm building caves out of Quicrete for my ball python.
