Yellow Tail pic

Here is one of my 2 male Yellow tail Cribos, this guy is around 7 foot and loves to eat. Not the greatest pic but I wanted to show his size compared to 14" tiles.

Looks just like my male y/t. I just ran your pic through "Snake Measuer" and came up with 89". Do you know his weight?

He is around 3.6lbs and still gaining weight quite fast. When I got him he was around 7'3" and only 800g, severly underweight I honestly wasnt sure if he would make it at the time. That was around Dec. 14th 2005 he came in as a fresh import and only had been here for a small time period. Below is an archive photo of him a week after he came in.

Wow only 800(?) grams when you got him! Sounds like he's putting on weight fast. Mine's about 81" and almost 2200 grams. He was in good shape when I got him although a fresh import. He's put on about 100 grams since I got him 3 weeks ago.

How hot are you keeping yours? I just got in a Ten Footer from Surinam. He is at 88F eating and passing meals. I have him in isolation he came in skinny. I will have pics soon. I don't want to handle quite yet. He is a lemon head and belly. He looks like an old timer. I am wondering if he will even breed.

I keep mine around 75-85F daytime temps, as long as they eat and pass meals I don't worry too much. That one sounds quite impressive! If you don't mind may I ask where you found him? I am looking for a female at the moment.
