Im new to Hognose snakes but I have a mid 05' Western. He has been eating 1 f/t mouse pinky every week but all of a sudden, he will only take it every 3 weeks. He's about 6 months now too. Maybe its the same thing.....maybe not.

I only have 1 western hog, an 05, he eats every time I feed him and I have to be careful not to over feed. He is about 12 inches long now and handles 2 pinkies very easily and a day later you can't even see the lump inside of him? Does this sound about right or do any of you think he is over fed? Seeing how easy he takes down pinkies, less than 30 seconds,I have thought about switching to fuzzies.
