Age/Sex determination?

python36 Jan 21, 2006 06:01 PM

Hello,
I have 3 cresteds, I purchased them in oct 05 and 2 were hatched in July 05 and 1 in sept 05. This makes 2 of them 7 months old and the other 5 months old. The 2 older ones are 3 inches SVL the other is a little smaller. Should I be able to tell the sex yet. They are good eaters thy eat the T rex diet and crickets. They are showing no bulges or pores yet. I am thinking that the older 2 are girls. any input is appreciated
thanks

Weight is one of the best ways to tell. By 14 grams you can make an educated guess that it is female (minus any bulges) but it is not set in stone until about 20 grams.
