Interesting Future Breeding Pair...

DavidKendrick Jan 21, 2006 10:33 PM

Just snapped some new pics of our striped boa pair, It will be interesting to see if they produce anything abberant. I know the general consensus is that its caused by Temp changes during gestation, but a guy can dream can't he...LOL
Thought I would share, even if they just produce Normal babies, these two are amazing in real life, we are happy to just have them in our collection.

Those are two beautiful striped boas. I really like the one n the left. I bet you get something interesting if the pair successfully produces. Where did you get them from?

The male who is fully striped, came from Special K Reptiles, and the female Came from Inland Reptiles, Both I believe where not the breeders, they just had them for sale. The Male is an 05' baby, and the female is a yearling. Not Really sure about the genetic, I personally believe that they are not Kahl "Stripeline" related, To me those have a little different Stripe, a little cleaner stripe, not so abberant. Lots of people think its just Temp changes during gestation, but who knows, a guy can day dream can't he....LOL we will see in a few years if the stripe trait passes on to the offspring, if not OH well, They are still fun to have.
