Try getting some chicken broth soup and dap it on some mice hoppers. Oh, and be sure to wait about 10 days after the Oxy fed so its hungry. Just freeze the soup and it will last about 20 years but usually two or three scented feedings and they take rodents off tongs. And be persistent. If it does not work, wait 3 more days and keep waiting and it will eat eventually and only force feed it if its sick or starved.

I was just wondering how you made this broth ? did you actually boil a chicken or chick or just parts of it?

Any suggestions for moving a lizard eater to pinkies ?
My Langaha is currently on anoles (though she's shut down for winter by the looks) I have followed on with a pinkie before, but are they any better ways to get her interested. I have tried live hamsters and mice, but she isn't interested, though she does investigate the movement. Also any other lizards that may be an idea to try. Max size of food would be pinkie,, maybe a fuzzy.

Mike, there is no "making" the broth as its chicken broth soup you buy in a can at the supermarket. Those madagascar longnose snakes perhaps will never take to pinks as they are really not designed to fit much but a lizard down them much less sight feed in the branches etc. You can try to scent a pink by rubbing a lizard on a frog or blender a lizards and soak a pink in the goop, but for the most part, lizards is what they will be stuck eating. Oh, and they are from the tropics and I am not so sure they really have an extended shut down period like some north american species, so perhaps make sure to keep it warm and feeding throughout the year.

Hi thanks for the reply, I was wondering about the broth.
Reguarding the Langaha, Dallas Zoo and Dr Krysko have both got theirs onto mice, plus mine has followed n with a pinkie before now. I have asked about the cool down period and have been told that their snakes do go off their food for a little while, though obviously I'm having to keep a watch on her weight.

Thanks

Mike
