Best guess on probable kind of carpet?

Chance Jan 22, 2006 10:34 AM

I received this big girl in a trade recently, and would like to see if I could narrow down her probable species. She was sold to the former owner as an IJ, but he suspects she's a coastal. I too think she's a coastal, but would like some input from keepers with more Morelia experience than myself. By the way, this request is basically for nothing more than curiosity's sake. She's a sweetheart and I don't care what species she is, I'd just like to know.

Looks like either a Coastal or a Jungle, but difficult to say for sure from the photo you posted. There is also the possiblity that it's a cross between the two.

Hmm it'd help if you knew her age. She looks EXACTLY like my Irian Jaya, and the females can get largish. If she's full grown, there is almost no way she can be a coastal, because they get pretty huge.
