Feeding during cooling ?

medusah Jan 22, 2006 11:03 AM

Was is the concensus about feeding during cooling?

I have two females that are being bred but would like to put more weight on them, is it OK to keep feeding them weekly during cooling?

Thanks in advance

78 at night and 82 day..yea.fine.......

70 at night and 78 day........too cold I think

my room is 80 to 88 all year......they breed fine......I just make it more inconsistant with the temps.....I go from 78 all day to 88 then maybe it will run 84 for a few days then jump to 89...oops.then run it back down to 80 for a day......

they will breed with the light cycle ,humidity, barometric pressure,.....they know it's winter outside.....

.........you notice how the toilet bowl and cold water pipes will sweat in the summer but not in winter...?..how the cages dry out 4 times faster in the winter......they notice it too

......

....FEED it all year if you like..........

If they'll eat, feed em. Some won't.

I keep feeding until they start refusing - but I feed smaller meals and I don't drop my temps much on for a few nights following feeding - got no scientific theory behind it - but it seems to be working fine.
