i want to go home,(from calgary to halifax) and they do not allow reptiles on air canada or west jet! anyone have any ideas? has anyone travelled with their lizzy before?

Are you looking to go home just to visit or go home for good?
If its just to visit you may want to consider finding someone to look after your dragon. Traveling , especially in winter can be very stressfull to the lizard. If you are looking to go home for good I would look into overnight shipping him, like ups.

I am quite sure Westjet will ship reptiles, providing they are appropriately packaged etc. Below is a link on how to package reptiles for cold weather (though I suggest waiting till the spring if at all possible, as even with heatpacks, the severe winters we get in Canada can still be very dangerous to a reptile). Though here in Ontario it has been unseasonably warm, I beleive Calgary has been rather cold, but I could be wrong, normally don't check the temp out west too often, unless my friend who lives there mentions it. I do know Halifax is rather up and down in temperature and weather conditions.
