Well...you really need a little more info, like how old is he ? what temperature range is his eclosure kept at ?? have you recently lowered his temps or the amount of hours of light he recieves ? have you taken him to the vet recently and was he checked for parasites ??? Also 4-5 grasshoppers doesn't sound like enough, but that would deppend on his size and the size of the grasshoppers.

It really could be alot of different things, depending on these variables.

i really have to agree with xxradxx...we need more info on the care of your beardie. Also are you feeding it veggies? Beardies enjoy the oppritunity to eat them and they are very good for them if properly balanced out with many types of bugs.

What type of grasshoppers are you feeding? Some grasshoppers are very dangerous for beardies to eat and this could be your problem....the grasshoppers could be toxic and are causeing him to become sick and lose his appetite or not want to eat them beacuase they make him sick....i reccomend feedinh him crix and mealies...they are safe and good for your beardie...feed 12 crix everyday if he is young...if he is older feed him 15 evey other day

please give us more info so we can help you

My bearded dragon buster was given to me probably a week before christmas, he is realy skinny, because the people who had him didnt take care of him rite. Before i had him he didnt have enough light, he didnt have a night bulb only a day bulb. and he was very dark. Now after he shedded two or three weeks ago his skin looks more healthy and stuff, but still skiny. I feed him grasshoppers(exo-terra), pelets which contain vitamins and all that good stuff. I have this fruit like vegetable mixture(bearded dragon adult formula) but he refuses to eat it(although my skink loves it), i also have meal worms he ate a couple of those awhile ago but realy doesnt care fore them. He finally ate at least two grasshoppers last night!
