Abnormal poo (gross pic inside)

kendergirl Jan 22, 2006 07:25 PM

WTF is this?? Spot crapped this out today, shortly after I got done with his daily treatment. Needless to say, it doesn't look right. Any clue as to what it is? I've got it bagged and ready to go to the vet tomorrow.

Currently he's being treated for mites daily, and he's also getting Amikacin shots every other day for pneumonia (three more to go). I haven't even had him 2 weeks yet! His temps are 83 ambient, 92-95 warm side...humidity is 55 - 60%.

I hope this isn't worms...yet another thing to treat for! Poor guy! I'm certainly getting a trial by fire with him (he's my first snake).

Any advise/ideas?

it's runny wet poo as you called it......

it's nothing........he is already being treated with amikacin ...are you doing SQ injections?.......(every 72 hrs for 5 treatments)......

/........water him daily............amiglyde will work the kidneys over.......just fresh water all the time....

it's wet but not that odd......

Not that abnormal looking? Maybe I just need to get a few more snake poos under my belt to know what's "normal".

I'll still be taking it in, just to see if he's got any other problems I need to deal with.

Yea Shanti , i have seen that a few times before in a few of my snakes. All those animals were fine. Like said before , just wet. As a matter of fact , one of my import BP's just shot a bunch of the stuff all over me a few days ago LOL. Hope he gets better.

Good luck
